Flu and Vaccination Tenting

Flu and vaccination tenting set up in South Sacramento at Kaiser Permanente during the COVID 19 Pandemic.

This particular set up is being showcased in the construction section of our website given the industrial and utilitarian appearance of this tent style. Essentially all tent installation are construction projects. However, this install for flu and vaccination tenting in the parking lot of Kaiser Permanente in South Sacramento. Kaiser utilized our clear-span tenting as drive-thru flu and vaccination tenting throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.  These tents were instrumental to the protection from wind, rain, and sun for medical staff. This allowed Kaiser to provide preventative health measures alongside necessary medical treatments, serving their members as quickly as possible.

Structurally, this tent style is a maxi-frame tent. The design of the Maxi tent is the work of Rainier Tent out of Washington state. This is a modern track style design that can provide cover and protection up to 50 mph sustained winds. The open gable design is the ideal type of tent structure to meet Kaiser’s objective and purpose for renting a tent structure.

Customers can choose between the open gable, a sunrise gable, clear gable, or solid white gable. For a more traditional appearance, customers can swap out the gable for a “hip” end. The hip end is more indicative of the “A” frame style most people recognize when thinking about tents.
