SCISSOR LIFTS
Primarily for installing lighting in the highest points of the tent.
8-10K REACH FORK LIFTS
Placing and lifting 50′, 60′, 80′ and 100′ arches that give length to our large structures and canopies.
42’+ BOOM LIFTS
Similar to a scissor lift, the boom lift adds more height and versatility to the crew which securing bolts and lights within the frame of our structures.
5K MINIMUM WAREHOUSE FORKLIFT
Loading and unloading equipment such as the vinyl tops, hardware baskets, toolboxes, weights, and more at the job site.
TENT OX
Made in the Shade owns a 500 Series and 700 Series Tent Ox which is deployed as needed to both installations and removal of tenting.
BLOCK MOVER CART
The mechanics of moving and placing large concrete ballasting blocks is made safer with the patented Block Mover Cart by Block & Roll Innovations. A game changer for the tent rental industry, these mover carts make moving 700 lb blocks look like a breeze.
HEAVY EQUIPMENT GIVES OUR CREW ADDED SUPPORT
Heavy equipment, specifically 8-10k Reach Forklifts and Boom Lifts, is required as part of the installation of our 20m, 25m and 30m structures. These heavy machines provide support to lift and place the tent frame and structural arches. Heavy equipment also assists our crew with pulling large tent and structure roof panels through the track systems, which is standard are the majority of our inventory. Additionally, heavy equipment is used to lift and place ballasting blocks which range in weight from 350 lbs. up to 4,800 lbs.
PROCURING AND IMPLEMENTING EQUIPMENT TO COMPLETE THE RENTAL INSTALLATION
When needed, our logistics coordinator will procure and confirm any required equipment rentals. Made in the Shade’s preferred, and approved, vendors include United Rentals or Sunbelt Rentals.Our clients and the industries that we serve is very diverse. More often than not, our clients have established relationships with heavy equipment suppliers equating to better rental rates. In cases such as this, you as the customer, may secure the rental of heavy equipment on behalf of Made in the Shade. For heavy equipment rentals we require equipment is delivered directly to the site prior to the arrival of the crew and that any/all equipment is for reserved for the exclusive use of Made in the Shade’s crew.

Made in the Shade crews have participated in extensive trainings and they have obtained certifications to operate all pieces of equipment that may be procured for a rental reservation.
